At a time when traditional economics seem to be losing credibility, Transactions<\/a> opportunely explores the lapse between economists\u00e2\u20ac\u2122 representations of the world and our daily experience. Featuring works that deal with everyday transactions and systems of bureaucracy, the exhibition probes the wrong assumptions and flawed hypotheses of today\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s neo-liberal model. But rather than simply challenge economic fallacies, Transactions reveals the political and poetic possibilities of such gaps, errors and miscalculations.<\/p>\n

Artists: A-153617 (An\u00c3\u00adbal L\u00c3\u00b3pez), David Brooks, Martin John Callanan, Nemanja Cvijanovic, DETEXT, Caleb Larsen, Julien Previeux, Daniel Seiple & KUNSTrePUBLIK, Katarina Sevic, Santiago Sierra, Nedko Solakov and Nikola Uzunovski.<\/p>\n

Transactions was organized by independent curator Marco Antonini and artist and economist Ra\u00c3\u00bal Mart\u00c3\u00adnez (DETEXT). It was previously presented at the CCEG (Centro Cultural de Espa\u00c3\u00b1a en Guatemala) in Guatemala City and Galer\u00c3\u00ada Horrach Moy\u00c3\u00a1 in Palma de Mallorca. <\/p>\n
