ASDF occupied Capricious Space as part of ‘IN REAL LIFE‘ During the 4 hour physical occupation an exhibition of 48 artists concurrently existed online on this page (an exhibition exhibited in an exhibition). Each piece in our show was available for view and download for a duration of exactly 5 minutes. After the 5 minutes, the next piece overwrote what had just been available. Each downloadable file was sized to print so that you can materialize the exhibition yourself. At the end of the 4 hour residency all original files were deleted. The downloaded files will be the only existing digital remnants of our exhibition.

Mylinh was in Capricious Space uploading the files (while broadcasting her desktop live at IRL’s site). She also printed and physically installed the show in the gallery. David chatted with her live from Chicago, while downloading, printing and installing the show in Golden Age.
