For its eighth edition, which took place from 11 to 13 November 2022, Luxembourg Art Week saw a spectacular increase in the number of visitors. With more than 20,000 visitors across three and a half days, audience figures have increased by nearly 30% over last year.
Thanks to its newly appointed selection committee, the fair also boasted an unprecedented quality of artistic proposals across its three sections. Many exhibitors surveyed pointed out the consistency in the selection of the 80 participating galleries.
The prospective section Take Off, with almost 45% new exhibitors, did particularly well thanks toa strong focus on contemporary debates such as NFTs (non-fungible tokens) and the LGBTQIA+community. Another much commented-on presentation was the solo show of Ben Greber at LAGEEGAL, who will be exhibiting at the Konschthal Esch next year.
